Social Security Wage and Tax Reporting

Attention All Employers and W-2 Fillers!

Plan to attend this valuable workshop if you are responsible for filing end of year annual wage reports (W-2s/W-3s) for your own employees or for another company’s employees, or if you are involved in the hiring process. This workshop is a MUST for large employers, small employers, domestic employers, payroll managers, human resource personnel, CPAs, accountants, enrolled agents, and other third party preparers. This is your opportunity to find out everything you need to know about filing W-2s for tax year 2008.

A Social Security representative will provide the most up-to-date information about the 2008 annual wage reporting (W-2 filing) process, including detailed information about filing W-2 and W-2C reports electronically, regardless of report size. Electronic filing is easy, safe and secure and can save you time and money while helping to improve the overall accuracy of your W-2 reports. Other topics that will be discussed include options for employers to verify employees’ names and Social Security numbers, the reconciliation of Form 941 tax data with Forms W-2/W-3 wage data, common errors in wage reports, including name and Social Security number mismatches, and suggestions for preventing these errors.

There is no charge for the workshop, however space is limited.
